Savannahs at Merritt Island, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Merritt Island, Florida.

The Savannahs golf course first opened for play in 1989. The course was designed by Gordon G. Lewis.

This par 72 championship course winds through a hardwood forest with demanding water hazards scattered along the 6,507 yards. Water and wetlands are a factor on thirteen holes of this tight course, and any of the four sets of tees will require full attention and your best game.

The water features are habitat to many water birds and golfers frequently view osprey, hawks and eagles from the surrounding woodlands. The fairways additonally offer a great view of the nearby NASA space launches.

Long ball hitters may lose advantage on this course to those with accurate second shots or a strong short iron game, and the small tiered and contoured greens will test concentration. But don't be intimidated, six holes allow preparation for number seven—rated one of the toughest holes in all of Central Florida!

To play your round to your best advantage, start with a warm-up at the Aqua Range, a unique and expansive 12-acre driving range on the water with a large two-tiered grass practice range. Each green fee includes free range practice balls.

Blue tees: 5,973 yards, course rating 69.6, slope rating 130.

White tees (M): 5,391 yards, course rating 67.0, slope rating 121.

White tees (W): 5,391 yards, course rating 71.7, slope rating 129.

Red tees: 4,592 yards, course rating 68.6, slope rating 121.
